Therapies with purpose, connection, and growth.
Born to Colombian and Austrian parents and raised in England, Karina Geiger brings a global perspective to healing and human development. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology before moving to New York City in 2008, where she completed her Master’s in Occupational Therapy at New York University.
For more than a decade, Karina has served children in schools, communities, and clinical settings, including her long-standing work in rehab at a Children’s Hospital in Miami. She specializes in sensory processing, developmental delays, emotional regulation, visual-motor integration, and functional skill development. Her expertise includes working with infants and NICU babies, helping build strong neurological foundations through therapeutic play, reflex integration, and nervous system support.
Driven by a deep belief in the body’s innate ability to heal, Karina expanded her work to include a Master’s in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. This allowed her to integrate Eastern medicine with modern developmental therapy, combining acupuncture, massage and fascia release, stretching, and energy-based techniques with traditional OT methods. Her approach addresses the whole system; physical, emotional, and neurological; honoring the unique needs of every child and client she supports.
Karina’s work goes beyond milestones. She helps children feel safe in their bodies, confident in their abilities, and connected to their own inner potential. Every session is guided by science, intuition, and a deep respect for human development. Her mission is to support growth that lasts—rooted in trust, connection, and therapeutic excellence.
